ABOUT THE CLUB

Dearne & District F.C. currently has 14 teams, 9 boys, 3 girls, a ladies team and the Dearne Dribblers under 4/5s.
We have continued upon the success of the Under 12's from 06/07 season this year with the Under 11's and Open age ladies teams both winning their leagues.
Congratulations to all the teams for the improvements in their progress.

We are very pleased to have support from our sponsors:

WE ARE VERY PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE HAVE RECIEVED A GRANT FROM THE COALFIELDS REGENERATION TRUST, TO WHOM WE ARE EXTREMELY GRATEFUL. THIS MONEY WILL BENEFIT US ALL AS PART OF OUR GROWTH AND SUSTAINABILITY PROJECT.

Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
